AYNOR -- Emma Alford Rabon, 67, of Valley Forge Road, died Saturday, July 27, 1996, at Mullins Hospital following an illness.
Mrs. Rabon was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Elie Mitchell and Rhoda Rabon Alford . She was a member of Valley Forge Baptist Church and a member of WMU. She was employed with AVX for 32 years before retiring in 1981. She was a Stanley Home Products representative.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Rabon; three brothers, Elbert Alford and Thelbert Alford , both of Odessa, Texas, and Hubert Alford of North Charleston; two sisters, Mary Johnson of North Charleston and Eula Best of Conway; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway chapel. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
