Don W. Smith, 68, of Kearny, Ariz., formerly of Brownstown, died 6:30 a.m. Sunday (May 16, 1982) in Tucson General Hospital, Tucson, Ariz.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in United Methodist Church, Brownstown. Visitation will be 6 p.m. Wednesday in Claggett Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will be in Griffith Cemetery, near Brownstown.
Mr. Smith was born in Fayette County, son of Ulysses and Eva Smith. He was a welder and a retired farmer. He married Sue Kollman in 1934.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Robert of Brownstown; Donald Joe of Kearny, Ariz., daughters, Mrs. Jim (Iris) Willis of Decatur; Mrs. B.C. (Blanche) Fowler of Toccoa, GA., brothers, Guy of Brownstown; Paul of Vandalia; eight grandchildren
