Services for Joyce "Hoss" Love, 78, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Griffin Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Born on Dec. 5, 1925, in Carter County to Mose and Mary White Love, he died on Nov. 21, 2004, at the local veterans center.
He married Jane Patton on Oct. 17, 1960, in Gainesville, Texas, and retired from OG&E after 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Colbert and John, and two sisters, Ella M. Howley and Doris Vieroski.
Survivors include his wife of the home; three sons, Calvin Love, Plano, Texas, Randy Love, Mansfield, Texas, and Dewayne Neighbors, Idaho; a daughter, Susan Laird, Springer; a sister, Etta Gilliam, Dickson; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren."
