SOPHIE BEBERMEIER

Funeral services for Mrs. Edward Bebermeier, 67, were held from the St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed church Sunday afternoon. The Rev. E. L. Worthman was in charge. Mrs. Bebermeier died at Memorial hospital Thursday. She had been in failing health for the past two years, and was a patient at the hospital for just one day.
The former Sophie Koeser was born Oct. 2, 1886, in the town of Schleswig, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Koeser. She was married to Edward Bebermeier on August 4, 1906, and the couple farmed in the town of Newton until 1926 when they moved to the farm in Schleswig.
Survivors include the husband, two sons, Milton of Schleswig and Arno of Kiel; two daughters. Mrs. Lloyd Hitsman of Rt. 1, Elkhart Lake, and Mrs. Herbert Vogel of Schleswig, two sisters, Mrs. August Voelker of Colby, Wis., and Mrs. Jack Schaar of New Holstein; four brothers, Charles of the town of Newton, Louis and Emil of the town of Rhine, Sheboygan County, and John of Schleswig; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
