She was born April 15, 1893, in Jackson County, the daughter of John P. and Mary Grannell McAsey. She moved from Jackson County to Pomona in 1947.
Mrs. Kidney was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Society of the church at Ottawa.
She was married to Scott R. Kidney, October 25, 1921, at Holton. He survives.
Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Agnes Lundstrom, Denver.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church here. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Calvary Cemetery at Holton. Mrs. Kidney will lie in state from this evening until 6 p.m. Monday at Dengel and Son Mortuary here and later at the church. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the church.
