Mose A Prather
Mose A. Prather, 78, LaHarpe a retired farmer, died yesterday at the
Allen County Hospital.
Mr. Prather was born at Golden City, Mo., and farmed near Butler for
A number of years before moving to LaHarpe in 1938 were he has since
Made his home.
He is survived by his wife Mary, of the home; four sons, Dave Meker, Colo.,
Earnest of Colorado Springs, William and Dale of LaHarpe; four daughters,
Violet Sherwood, of Chanute; Darlene Paddock, LaHarpe; Millie Chambers
And Bonnie Pennington, both from Iola; one brother Fred Prather, Fulton;
One sister Anna Jenkins, Montana; and 14 grandchildren.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. Martin Platt at 2 p.m. Monday in the
Waugh Funeral Home. Interment will be at the LaHarpe Cemetery
