John was the youngest son of Johan Conrad and Mary Elizabeth (Arndt) Reinhardt. He married Anna Catherine Reinhardt in 1907 and they were the parents of eleven children: Lydia, Alec, Mary, Robert (Bob), Katherine (Kate), Edward (Ed), William (Bill), Freida, Dorothy, John Carl and Betty Ann.

Dies at Belle Monday

REINHARDT DEATH at BELLE
Funeral services for John William Reinhardt, 66 year-old former Vale farmer who passed away Monday morning at the Belle Fourche hospital, will be conducted from the Peace Evangelical church in Nisland at 1:30 this Thursday afternoon.
Rev. G. T. Zucher will conduct the services and burial will be in the Belle Fourche cemetery under direction of Frost and Son funeral home.
Mr. Reinhardt had farmed in the Vale vicinity from 1929 until 1943 when he retired and they moved to their home in Vale.
Deceased was born May 27, 1881 in Russia. he was married in that country January 22, 1907, to Anna Katherine Reinhardt. The couple came to the United States in 1912 and lived until 1929 in Wyoming.
Surviving are Mrs. Reinhardt, four sons, Alec of Deaver, Wyo., Robert of Nisland, William of Glendive, Mont., and John of Vale; six daughters; Mrs. Lydia Lungren, Mrs. Freida Mailloux, Mrs. Dorothy Lungren, Betty Ann Reinhardt and Mrs. Katherine Pauley, all of Vale, and Mrs. Mary Herman, Belle Fourche and many other relatives.

Funeral services were held from the Peace Evangelical church at Nisland yesterday for John William Reinhardt, 66 year-old Vale resident, who died at the local hospital Monday morning.
Rev. G. T. Zucher officiated at the rites. Burial took place in Pine Slope cemetery under the direction of the Frost and Son Funeral Home.
Reinhardt has lived in the Vale vicinity since 1929.
Surviving are Mrs. Reinhardt, four sons, Alec of Deaver, Wyo., Robert of Nisland, William of Glendive, Mont., and John of Vale; six daughters; Mrs. Lydia Lungren, Mrs. Freida Mailloux, Mrs. Dorothy Lungren, Betty Ann Reinhardt and Mrs. Katherine Pauley, all of Vale, and Mrs. Mary Herman, Belle Fourche.
