MOULTON -- Funeral for George "Edward" Shelton, 73, of Decatur will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Shelton died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. He was born Nov. 16, 1925, in Lawrence County, to Scebern and Lettie Shelton. He was retired from Quaker Oats, where worked as a truck driver. He was the father of the late Marvin Dewayne Shelton and the stepfather of the late Ronald Cowan.
