These Birth & Death dates found in Illinois Records & Emil's WW1 Draft Registration, Pictured on the right.

Emil was the 6th child of 8 children born to Christian and Louise (Trotz) Rakow.

At age 17 we find Emil is working as a cabinet maker on the 1900 Census. By 1910 Census at age 27, Emil is a Contractor, building houses.

1918 WW1 Draft Registration tells us Emil now is Manager of Producing Crude Oil for the Decatur Oil Co. Records show Emil worked for Decatur Oil Co. until his death on March 24, 1923.

The WW1 Draft Registration also gives us a description of Emil. It states that Emil is of Medium Height, Stout Build with Blue Eyes & Dark Brown Hair.

I find no record of Emil ever being married.

Emil was age 40 years, 1 month & 6 days old at the time of his death.
