Louise married Christian C. Rakow in 1867(as per 1900 Census) at 22 years old in Germany. They Emigrated to America the same year they were married. She was 22 years old.
Louise and Christian had their first child two years later in 1869, and named her Bertha. They had 7 more children after Bertha and they were all born in Illinois. Their names were Mina born 1871, Charles born 1874, Helen born 1876, William born 1879, Emil C. born 1883, Christian Jr. born 1886, and Frieda H. born 1891.
Louise died in Bloomington, Illinois on Jan. 23, 1934, and was buried on Jan. 26, 1934.
These dates are recorded in State of Illinois Records. Her husband preceded her death. He died in 1919 and she remained a widow until her death 15 years later.
