Visitation and viewing will be from 10 am. to 7 p.m. on Tues., Dec. 30. A Vigil and Rosary service will be at 7:30 p.m. at the Tennant Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10a.m. on Dec. 31 at the St. Anthony Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Whipkey officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Florene G. Lock was born on Oct. 25, 1931 in Fleming to Herman J Schlenz and Clara C.Lousberg. She grew up and attended school at St. Peters during grade school and graduated from Fleming High School. Florene married William Lock on Sept. 12,1951 at the St Peters Catholic Church south of Fleming. She
worked for AT&T in Boulder from 1952 until 1961. Florene and William moved to Sterling in 1961. She worked as a secretary for B&J Plumbing & Heating until her death, Florene was a member of the AARP, Beta Sigma Phi,and St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Florene is survived by her husband, William Lock of Sterling;three sons, Rod and Sheri Lock of Granby,Dan and wife, Tonia Lock of Sterling, Rick and wife, Jana Lock of Sterling; daughter,Kris and husband, Dave Debus of Iliff; nine grandchildren,Kyle and Amanda Lock of Sterling, Ryan and Michael Lock of Sterling, Megan,Craig, Chase, and Cole Debus of Iliff, Kelsey Lock of Granby; six sisters, Delores Felt and husband, Kingsley of Sterling,Lila Monat of Sterling, Barb Wisdom and husband, Bob ofSterling, Arlene Drinkwine
