Died at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, at the residence of Bob Pendarvis in Walker. She was 81. A native of Ascension Parish, she lived in Walker. Body at Hollabaugh-Spindle Funeral Home in Denham Springs until 2:30 p.m. Friday. Services at the Walker Pentecostal Church at 3 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. A. E. Eccles, the Rev. Roy Lawrence, the Rev. H. B. Wilkinson and the Rev. McMasters officiating. Interment in Palmetto cemetery in Walker.

Active pallbearers are Albert Pendarvis, Bert Achord, R. V. Pendarvis, Homer Burns, Milburn Aschord and Willie Coats.

Survived by four sons, Ray Burns, Hammond; Ivan Burns, Greenville, Miss.; Patrick Burns, Walker, and Wilbur Burns, San Antonio, Tex.; six daughters, Mrs. Elsie Teal and Mrs. Vivian Pendarvis, both of Walker; Mrs. Beatrice Achord, Denham Springs; Mrs. Addie Coats, Springfield; Mrs. Elna Slocum, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Annie Berthelot, Port Vincent; one half sister, Mrs. Juliet Boudreaux, Prairieville; brother, Louie LeBlanc, Gonzales; 50 grandchildren, and 57 great-grandchildren.

Was a member of the Walker Pentecostal Church.
