Anthony Carl Breimayer was the third son of Ferdinand and Agata Bauer Breimayer and was a farmer. See the full family history at Memorial No. 42883512.

Baptismal records for Anthony located at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manchester, Washtenaw Cty, Michigan, indicate he was baptized "John Anthony" on May 26 1870, godparents Joseph Bauer, his mother's brother, and Monica Schwartz, likely an aunt or cousin. John Anthony is Anglicized from the traditional Johann and Antonius or Anton, the German spelling of many of his Breimayer ancestors.

Records from Washtenaw Cty indicate that an infant named Karl Breimaier (sic), born June 5, 1866, died on July 28, 1866 and is buried in an abandoned cemetery in Freedom Twp. So, our Anthony Carl may have been named after his deceased earlier born brother as was common practice and/or after another uncle Carolus (Charles) Bauer (who also appears in Washtenaw Cty and St. Mary's Catholic Church records).

After the relocation of the family to the 3321 Hawley Highway farmstead in 1877, Anthony worked on the farm. On 2 May 1899, he married neighbor Mary Magdalene "Mamie" Kopp, the only surviving child of Carolyn "Carrie" Fisher and Peter Kopp. When Ferdinand died in 1901, the family farm at 3321 Hawley Hwy was divided among the children in equal shares. Later the farm was quit claimed to Charles F. "Charlie" Breimayer by his siblings. Anthony and Mamie resided on the property (1910 U.S. Census), but it was sold by Charlie it to August Christian "Gus" Geiger in 1917 to purchase other property. But in 1919, it was purchased by Carrie Kopp, Mamie's mother, who sold her home and a lot in Belding to finance the purchase. Carrie Kopp lived with Anthony and Mamie after the Kopp family home was destroyed by fire, and at her death in 1932, the property was devised to them.

The household grew to six children as well as Carrie Kopp following the death of Peter Kopp. Following the death of Mamie, Anthony remained living with Clarence Peter and Irene C. Hausman Breimayer until his death on March 13, 1862.
