Grace Bishop Nelson, 77, died August 19, 1993, of cancer at her son's home in Bountiful, Utah.
She is a beloved mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 21, 1993 at 12:00 noon in the Mueller Park 4th Ward, 1320 East 1975 South in Bountiful.
Friends may call at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services.
Born 29 June, 1916 in Richmond, Utah, the eighth of eleven children of Alfred William Bishop and Amelia May Van Noy.
She married Gerald Barton Nelson on January 2, 1941 in the Logan LDS Temple.
She resided in San Diego, California for 45 years.
She served faithfully in her many LDS Church callings.
She served as Primary and Young Womens president and Stake Relief Society president.
Survivors include her son, Garth and his wife, Carylyn, of Bountiful; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter; a sister, Venna Howard, of Alpine, Utah; and a sister, Alta Myrle and husband, James Archibald, Tremonton.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gordon, her husband, and six brothers and two sisters.
Interment - Bountiful City Cemetery.
