"Mrs. Ella Mae Abel, age 65, died in biloxi Hospital at 12:24 p.m. today. She was the widow of Joseph Abel. She was a native of Pascagoula and had resided in Biloxi 36 years. The funeral will be held Friday at 4 p.m. from the home in Southern Shell Camp on Back Bay with services by Rev. Alsworth at the home and at the Epworth Church. She is survived by two sons, Carlyle and Ferrell, Biloxi; five daughters, Mrs. Leon Dalgo, Biloxi; Mrs. E. J. Matulich, Columbia, Miss.; Mrs. Hazel Abraham, New Orleans; Mrs. B. J. Hamilton, Biloxi, and Mrs. Eugene Aucoin, New Orleans; one sister, Mrs. Joseph Benson, Biloxi; two brothers, Lawrence Ladnier, Mobile, and C. A. Ladner, Gulfport."
