Mabel E. Leadley
Mabel E. Leadley, 103, formerly of 600 Country Lane, Geneseo, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 1996 at the Livingston County Campus Skilled Nursing Facility in Mt. Morris.
She was born May 30, 1893 in Groveland, NY, to the late Lester and Isabel (Wilson) Hendershott.
Mabel was a retired sales clerk for both the Grand Union grocery store and Loohns Dry Cleaners on Main St. in Geneseo.
She is survived by one sister, Gertrude House of Avon; and several nieces and nephews, including Leon Buchanan of Dansville.
Calling hours were held Friday from 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Geneseo. Funeral services were held Friday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Peter Sarazyn officiating. Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery, Groveland.
