Kathryn Buchanan of Conesus and Geneseo died Wednesday (Feb. 10, 1982) at the age of 81.

She is survived by a son, Leon Buchanan of Conesus; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mabel Leadley of Geneseo, Mrs. Gertrude House of Avon and Mrs. Clara Woodcock of Providence, R.I.; two brothers, Earl Hendershott of Avon and Howard Hendershott of Scottsburg; nieces and nephews.

A service was conducted in the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, Geneseo, Saturday afternoon. Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery, Groveland. Memorials may be made to the Medical Oncology Unit at Highland Hospital in Rochester or the Geneseo Ambulance.(GCE, February 18, 1982, p4)
