MORRISON, Wis. -- John (Hans) Behnke, 70, died at the home of Clarence Haese Friday night, following a heart attack. He had been employed at the Haese home for several years. Mr. Behnke was born near Hilbert, Wis., on Nov. 24, 1883 and had been employed in the Morrison area as a farm laborer for the past 30 years.
Surviving him are several nieces and nephews.
The body is at the Schwartz Funeral Home here where it will lie in state from Sunday noon until the time of services. The last rites will be conducted by the Rev. H. A. Harthun at the Zion Lutheran Church in Wayside at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial will be in the Potter Cemetery.
