Mrs. Christina Hahn, wife of Robert Hahn, died at her home in Potter Monday morning after an illness of two weeks. She was born in Rockland on October 7, 1867, and was the oldest daughter of Ferd. Behnke. She is survived by her husband and four children, Paul, Arno, Huldina and Helmold, also her father, six brothers and three sisters. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Lutheran church, Rev. P. C. Wichmann officiating. Hosts of friends gathered at the residence and church to pay their last tribute of love and respect to their friend and the offering of flowers was large and beautiful. Rev. Wichmann spoke very feelingly of the beauty of the life so early ended. Mrs. Hahn was loved and honored among her friends and neighbors because of her charitable disposition and kindly feeling for all. Interment was in the Potter cemetery.
