Visitation is until 8 p.m. today at Tennant Funeral Home. Vigil and rosary service are at 7:30 p.m. today at Tennant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Ken Koehler officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery in Fleming. Multiple Sclerosis Foundation cards are available at the Tennant Funeral Home chapel.Mr. Koehler was born July 29,1940, in Sterling, the son of Leonard H. and Nettie T. Schlenz Koehler. He was raised in Fleming and graduated from Fleming High School in 1958. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1964 in Germany.
He worked for the railroad for approximately three years, then was employed as a meat cutter at Sterling Co. Beef Co. until 1976. He moved to Brush in 1977, then back to Sterling in 1992.
He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, B.P.O. Elks Lodge #1336, and apast member of Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Koehler is survived by his mother Nettie, daughter Tammy Koehler of Denver; sisters Jo Ellen Zink of Iliff, Jeanne Anderson of Thornton and Joyce
Schofield of Westminster; brothers Bob Koehler of Akron, Daniel Koehler of Broomfield, Howard Koehler of Tucson, Ariz. and Roger Koehler of Fleming; and
numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard, in February of 1991.
