Mr. Koehler was born Sept. 29, 1941; tO Leonard and Nettie (Schlenz) Koehler on a farm southwest of Fleming.
He graduated from Fleming High School in 1959. He served in
the Navy from July 27, 1959, to Oct. 5, 1962. He remained on inactive duty until 1965, On Oct. 25, 1969, he married Nancy Clodfelder.
He worked for several farmers in Northeast Colorado, and in 1994 went to work for the Otis school district as a custodian.
Mr. Koehler is survived by wife Nancy; daughters Heather Grant, Ogallala, Neb., Misty Miller, Akron, and Becky White, Yuma; son John Koehier, Yuma; brother Dan Koehler, Broomfield, Howard Koehler, Tuscon, Ariz.; sister JoEllen Zink, Iliff, Jeanne, Frederick, Joyce Schofield, Westminster; and eight grand children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Leonard, Wayne and Roger Koehler; and sister Nettie.
