Following an illness of six and one-half years, Mrs. Leona Rice Blue, 73, wife of Spencer Blue, died of complications Saturday afternoon, at 1:20, in her home at Brave.
Born January 4, 1868, at Rices Landing, Mrs. Blue spent most of her life in Wayne Township and in 1889 married Spencer Blue, who survives. She was a member of Kent's Methodist Church, Brave.
Also surviving are the following children: Mrs. Harry (Grace) Snell, Jacob O. Blue, Melbourne L. Blue and Delmont Blue, all of Brave; Mrs. Clara Grosick, Pittsburgh, and Ralph Blue, Pitt Gas, in addition to the following brother and sisters; Thomas Rice and Mrs. James Sickle, Washington, and Mrs. Rebecca Fordyce, address unknown.
