Grace Blue Snell, 80, of Waynesburg RD # 1, died at 6:45 PM Sunday, March 26, 1972 in Greene County Memorial Hospital following a one-month illness.

She was born February 18, 1892 in Jollytown, a daughter of Spencer and Leona Rice Blue. Her husband Harry Snell, whom she married in 1908, survives.

Mrs. Snell had spent the early part of her life in the Jollytown and Brave area and for the past thirty years had lived in Waynesburg. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene at Waynesburg.

Surviving in addition her husband, Harry Snell, are 5 daughters: Mrs. John (Pearl) Stoudt of Canton, Ohio, Mrs. John (Helen) Kent, Mrs. Jerry (Opal) Clark of Orange Park, Florida, Mrs. Thomas (Jean) Higginbotham of Beaver and Mrs. Robert (Margaret) McManus of Blairsville; three sons Ted Snell of Blairsville, Melbourne Snell of Apollo and Glenn Snell of Brave, 21 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Owen and Delmont Blue, both of Brave. One sister and four brothers are deceased.
