He was a member of the Kent's Chapel United Methodist Church at Brave.
He was a retired employee of the People's Natural Gas Co. He worked for over 44 years at the Brave Compression Station, retiring in January of 1958. While his health permitted he was a member of the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Company. His wife, Sylvia Keck Blue, died May 21, 1955. Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. George W. (Doris) Evans of Brave; one son, Harold M. Blue, El Paso, Texas; one granddaughter, Mrs. Roger (Libeth) Long of Falls Creek, Pa.; two grandsons, Edward O. Evans of Brave and Harold H. Blue of Greene Belt, Maryland; and one brother, Delmont Blue of Brave.
Two sisters, Grace Snell, and Clara Grossick and four brothers, Melbourne, Ralph, Merle and Raymond are deceased. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
