Alvina was the daughter of Willlie and Bertha Prinz Gebert and the sister to Herbert, Leroy, Waylon, Elnora Melber, Lorine Moore, Mildred Melber and Doris Smith. Alvina married Charles Spaulding. She and Charles traveled all over the United States and lived in New York State before retiring to Bastrop, Texas. She was an excellent cook.
