My great-Uncle Francis (Frank) McKee Brown was born in Washington Township, in Indiana County, Pa. on 06 Feb 1877 to parents John Alexander Brown(1842-1922) and Malinda Ann Dilts(1847-1916). Both of Indiana County, Pennsylvania.
He was one of 11 siblings: Charles C., James, Sarah Estella (Jesse Kunkle), Maude E. (Elmer Borland), Mary, William, John Cummings, Alexander, Lloyd Dilts, and an infant baby.
Frank married Minnie B. Thorn(1879-1954) in Columbiana County, Ohio on November 24, 1903. They had one son named Dale E. Brown(1907-1933).
They would make their home in Garfiled Heights, Ohio.
Frank died on January 1, 1955 after succumbing to injuries suffered in a fire in his home. He is laid to rest next to his wife Minnie B. and son Dale E., both of whom preceded him in death. They are laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087.

A widower, Brown apparently fell asleep at his home, 10704 Wadsworth Avenue, Garfield Heights, last night. A roomer heard his cries for help and rushed into the rooms to find the victim in a flaming lounge chair.
