Lelia May Calvin, graduated from Graham High School in 1922. She attended Weatherford College and West Texas State University in Canyon, where she received her teacher's certificate and taught school in rural areas for 11 years.
She married William Henry Leon "Lee" Loftin in 1925.
After 16 years of marriage, their union was blessed with a fine baby boy, Thomas Leon Loftin, born 17 February 1941. Her husband died of a heart attack. After her husband's death, Leila sold cosmetics door-to-door and did substitute teaching in the Graham schools.
Her son graduated from Graham High in 1958.
After 16 years of being a widow, William Curtis Langford married Leila Mae Loftin in Graham on 1 December 1974, long-time resident of the Red Top Community. They moved to a farm near Graham and are active in the First Baptist Church.
