Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon for Roy Hunt, 74, a carpenter and mechanic, who died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 1961, at the residence of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Case, after an illness of three months. He was a son of the late William and Elizabeth Botts Hunt and a lifetime resident of Harrison County, Kentucky.

Surviving him are: his wife, the former Lena Toadvine; three daughters, Mrs. Marshall Mullin and Mrs. Arnold Haubach, both of Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Ernest Case, of Harrison County; a son, Emmett Leroy Hunt, of Dayton, Ohio; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Taylor Hunt, of Harrison County, and Marion Hunt, of Miami, Florida; and two sisters, Mrs. Elbert Muntz, of Lakeland, Florida, and Mrs. Clark Toadvine, of Cynthiana.

The Rev. Lawrence Smith conducted funeral services at Beaver Baptist Church, with burial taking place in Beaver Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers were Shirley Toadvine, Gordon Wyles, Manville Muntz, Clarence Doane, Everett Doane and Ray Toadvine, Jr.
