Funeral services were held at Beaver Baptist Church on February 25 by Rev. David Chedester and Rev. Ed Brown. Burial was at Beaver Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers were T. R. Toadvine, Manville Muntz, Emmett Hunt, Russell Doan, Everett Doan and Clifford Lee Curtis. Honorary pallbearers were J. T. Hickman, Henry Judy, J. Lewis Judy, Yancy Muntz, Ray Toadvine, Sr., and Noble Henson.
NOTE: Taylor was married twice. He and his first wife, Amy Green Hunt, had one child, Ethyl Gentry Hunt. Taylor and Amy divorced. Lillie Mann Hunt was Taylor's second wife.
