Marlin F. Trout, 68, Paradise R1, died unexpectedly at 12:35 a.m. Monday at his home. He had been under the care of a physician. He was the husband of Edna Summers Trout.
Born in Harrisburg, he was a son of Mrs. Susan Stoffer Trout, Pleasant View Nursing Home, Manheim, and the late George P. Trout.
Trout was a retired machinist of the Christiana Machine Company and was a member of the Georgetown United Methodist Church.
In addition to his widow and mother, he is survived by eight children, Dorothy, wife of Harold Rhoades, and Sara, wife of Nelson Sears, both of Lancaster; Arthur, Donald and Dale, all at home; Victor, of Gordonville; Robert and Rhonda, wife of Ralph Wiker III, both of Paradise R1.
Also surviving are 23 grandchildren, one great-grandson and five brothers and sisters, Eva, wife of John Pickel, Refton; Hazel, wife of John Myles, Christiana; Parke, of Lancaster; Paul, of New Providence, and Sue, wife of Harold Newswanger, Leola.
