Willa Abbott
Willa Abbott, Morgantown, died on May 9, 1983, at Morgan County Hospital. She was 93.
Born on August 22, 1889, to Pierce and Nancy N. (Link) Link, she married Charles Abbott who preceded her in death.
A member of Morgantown Baptist Church, she had worked at the canning factory at Trafalgar.
She is survived by five sons, Carl of Morgantown, Maurice of Francisville, Arthur and Ora, both of Elwood, and Barnie Abbott, of Indianapolis; 32 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Two sons preceded her in death.
Dr. Chester McCullough officiated at the funeral on Thursday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home.
Burial was at Carmel Ridge Cemetery.
