BLOOMINGTON - Patricia Ann Huchel Sakemiller, 70, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Bloomington, died at 4:10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002 at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater.

She was born Oct. 3, 1931 in Parkersburg, the daughter of Fredric B. and Aileen Nicholas Huchel. She married Charles Woodrow Sakemiller on Oct. 28, 1984 in Fort Myers, Fla. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Ann Wollenschlager Benton, Sourthern Pines, S.C.; one son, Dan Wollenschlager, Fayetteville, N.C.; one stepson, Gary C. Sakemiller, Bloomington; and one brother, Eugene "Bud" Huchel, Farmer City.
Survivors also include four grandchildren, Lena Wollenschlager Springborn, Hallie Benton, Nicholas Benton and Daniel J. Sumarkeris.
She moved to Clearwater in 1983 from Bloomington. While living in Bloomington, Pat was a real estate broker and a real estate officer for the city of Bloomington. She was a member of the Junior Women's Club and Women's Club of Bloomington; a member of the Republican Workshop Board; and Lakeside Country Club.
