Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Summers Funeral Home with the Parkersburg Masonic Lodge presiding.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Masonic rites and military rites will be conducted. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Parkersburg.
Mr. Huchel was born Aug. 28, 1922, in Richland County, the son of Frederic B. Huchel, Sr. and Aileen (Nicholas) Huchel, Sr. He married Mildred L. Robbins October 19, 1942.
He was a plant manager for an oil company. He was a member of VFW, American Legion and the Masonic Lodge at Parkersburg.
Survivors include his wife Mildred, two daughters, Sandra K. Lister, Ft. Myers, FL. and Nancy L. Murbarger, Parkersburg; a brother Eugene "Bud" Huchel, Farmer City, IL; a sister, Patricia Sakemiller of Bloomington, IL; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
