Kenneth E. Ridgely, 86, of Olney, died at 10:34 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2004, at Burgin Manor.

Mr. Ridgely was born on March 17, 1918, in Richland County, the son of Dow and Pearl (Forney) Ridgely.

He married Mabel Rash on April 19, 1941. She survives.

He was a retired farmer and former owner of feed grain and fertilizer elevators in Parkersburg. He attended Walnut Grove Church in Parkersburg and was a member of the Olney Elks Lodge and Parkersburg Ruritan Club.

Mr. Ridgely is survived by his wife, Mabel Ridgely of Olney; two sons, Timothy Ridgely and his wife Dotti of Parkersburg, and Randy Ridgely and his wife Marianne of Olney; two daughters, Rebecca Wilson and her husband Larry of Olney and Sharon Miller and her husband Stanley of Ridgway; a sister, Bertha Polzin of Saginaw, Mich.; and 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Eileen, Irene and Carol and two brothers, Daniel and Clayborn.
