BIRTH: Given in her father's James Beckett's Bible as Nov. 10 1795 but in her husband John Pine's Family Bible says Nov. 30 1795. Her age on death record would calculate to birth of 28 December 1794.

DEATH: Mary Pine fem white widow died Mar 29 1878 age 83y3m29d at Windsor Twp, Lawrence Co, born Virginia, housekeeper, died of Lung fever Ledge 1-182 Reg. no 8. Her date of death was the only death date not contained in her father's bible record. The date was found by Thomas Pine in the Lawrence Co. court records.

History of Lawrence Co OH 1990 p. 276-7 mentions the Pine family in more detail.

The history by Nettie Pine Wallace Pierce, a great granddaughter of Mary, written in 1914 says her Mary Pine had siblings named Bill (William), Si (Josiah), John, Mose (Moses), Charles, Lee (Andrew), Lemmy (Lewis), Eliza, Sarah, and Annie. It also says she was buried in Pine Grove with her husband. They both gave the land for the establishment of the church and cemetery there.
