Mildred A. (Bupp) Schwartz, 93, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Normandie Ridge.

Mrs. Schwartz was born on July 8, 1917 in York a daughter of the late Abraham and Emma (Sweitzer) Bupp. She was a loving mother who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Schwartz is survived by two sons, Ronald E. and wife Chris Schwartz of Abbottstown and William A. and wife Judith Schwartz of Gloucester, VA; three daughters, Ruth E. and husband James Ranker of Red Lion, Dorothy L. Schwartz and companion Ron Smeltzer of York, and Betty J. and husband Gary Hoffman of Harrisburg; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Esther Lau of York; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Abraham, Jesse, William, and John Bupp; and three sisters, Olive Peppler, Gladys Hoke, and Helen Smallwood.

Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
