Augusta A. Williams was but an infant when her parents, Albert Gallatin Williams (1807-1869) and Ellen M. Owens Williams (1818-1897), moved from Monroe County, Missouri across the state to Platte County, Missouri. She did not survive the journey. She was buried on her parents' new farm, Sunnyside, three miles outside of Weston. Later, the section of the farm where she had been buried was sold and renamed Breezy Park Farm. Originally buried with a headstone, the headstone was removed by a later owner of the property. Due to this, her family erected a marker in Laurel Hill Cemetery to honor her memory.
