Avis L. Bader was born March 12, 1901, in Williamsport, Indiana. She married Clinton Graham, Vice-President of Southern Indiana Gas and Electric Company.
As a child, Avis played the piano with the family band.
She was later a member of the Y.W.C.A. board of directors, Daughters of the Nile and Order of Eastern Star.
Avis died January 13, 1951, at Evansville, Indiana, and is buried there in Oakhill Cemetery.

ILLNESS FATAL FOLLOWING OPERATION TO WIFE OF UTILITY EXECUTIVE
Mrs. Avis L. Graham, prominent Evansville clubwoman, died at 4 p.m. Thursday in Deaconess hospital. She was 49.
Mrs. Graham underwent major surgery at the hospital Monday. Pneumonia developed Wednesday and proved fatal.
She was the wife of Clinton K. Graham, vice-president and commercial manager of Southern Indiana Gas and Electric company.
A resident of 909 East Blackford avenue, she was a past president of the Opti-Mrs. club and Stanley Hall Parent-Teacher Association, and a member of the Y.W.C.A. board of directors, Daughters of the Nile, Robert Morris chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and Trinity Methodist Church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. H. A. Karch, of Oak Park, Ill; two sons, Richard K. and Charles M. Graham, both of Evansville; one grandson; mother, Mrs. Belle Bader, of Springfield, O., five brothers, William G., Lewis, Russell and P.H. Bader, of Springfield, and John R. Bader, Detroit, Mich. and two sisters, Mrs. James R. Fennessey and Mrs. Glen Leichner, both of Springfield.
The body is at the Robert Greek mortuary, where friends may call after 3 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be held at the Robert Greek chapel at 10 a.m. Monday, Rev. Frank A. Hamilton, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
