She was born on Nov. 6, 1944, in Midland, the daughter of the late William and Lucille (Irelan) Moe. Cathy attended Bullock Creek Elementary and graduated from Midland High School in 1963. She married Lawrence A. Ward and was employed with Huhtamaki in Coleman.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Lawrence; a son, Rusty and Amy Touchtone of Clare; six grandchildren, Carissa, Tanner, Sawyer, Christopher, Sieira and Gayla Ruth, also of Clare; five brothers, Robert (Mildred) Moe of Midland, Lawrence (Sue) Moe of Beaverton, Dale (Ann) Moe of Houghton Lake, Richard Moe of Missouri and Gary (Elfriede) Moe of Germany; four sisters Clara (Ed) Penney of Coleman, Shirley (Mel) Rooker of Midland, Dorothy Quick of Luzerne and Diane (Jerry) Nelson of Midland; her sister-in-law, Kathy Moe of Midland; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Thomas, and Terry Moe.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2002, from the O'Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc., in Coleman. Pastor Lonnie Severance will officiate, with burial in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman.
