Mrs. Charity Belle Garringer, 94, 1220 N. Walnut Street, died Saturday at Ball Memorial Hospital. A native of Randolph County, she came to Muncie in 1940. She was a member of the High Street Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Lucy Johnson, Muncie; a step-son, Lloyd Garringer, Nakomis, Florida; a step daughter, Mrs. Hilda Boggs, Parker; a brother Harry Marquis, Eaton, Ohio; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Rev. Elmer Sollenberger and Dr. S. Walton Cole will conduct services at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Parson Mortuary. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday or prior to services Tuesday. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Maxville.
