Phoebe Peacock Dies Monday At Winchester Home
Mrs. Phoebe Peacock,77,wife of Charlton "Add" Peacock,passed away at her home,444 East South street,at 10:15 a.m. Monday after an illness of three months.
The deceased was a member of the Friends church and a lifelong resident of Randolph county.
Surviving besides the husband are three sons,Clifford E. of Muncie,John W. of Park Ridge,Ill, and Rolland M. of Whittier,Calif;one sister,Stella Young of Omaha,Neb.;three brothers, Harry Marquis of Eaton,O.,and Chester and Charles Marquis,both of Dayton;two half-sisters,Charity Garringer of Muncie and Miriam Norton of Lynn;one granddaughter and two grandsons.
The body was removed to the Maynard and Walker funeral home where arrangementw will be announced later.
Burial was in Fountain Park Cemetery.
