DORA STANLEY, OF HARPER ROAD,
DIES IN LOCAL HOSPITAL
Mrs. Dora Snuffer Stanley, 61, of Harper Road, died Saturday evening in a local hospital following a short illness.
She was born at Crab Orchard, a daughter of the late Sparrel and Susan Snuffer.
A member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, she had been a resident of the Mt. Tabor community since her marriage.
Surviving her, are the following: husband, Dell Stanley, four daughters, Mrs. Reda Christian, at home; Mrs. Carl Mann, Mabscott; Mrs. Sam Mann and Mrs. Warren Patton, both of Harper Road; four sons, Robert and Charles Stanley, both of Eccles; Boyd Stanley, Harper Road; John Stanley, U.S. Navy, stationed at Guam; five sisters, Mrs. Snyder Phipps and Mrs. Lettie Evans, both of Harper Road; Mrs. Mary Scott, Beckley; and Mrs. Dellie Campbell and Mrs. W. T. Riffe, of Crab Orchard; two brothers, Ira Snuffer of Coal City, and Everette Snuffer, of Crab Orchard.
The body will remain at the Calfee Funeral Home pending completed funeral arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon for Mrs. Dora Snuffer Stanley, 61, of Mt. Tabor, who died at a local hospital Saturday. Services will be held at the Mt. Tabor Church.
Mrs. Stanley was born at Crab Orchard, a daughter of the late Sparrel and Susan Snuffer and was a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist church.
