Mrs. Elizabeth Tatman, wife of Cary Tatman of this place, died at 10 o'clock on last Friday night, after an illness of several weeks. She was 70 years of age, and had been a member of the U.B. Church for many years. Her funeral occurred at 10 o'clock a.m. on Sunday last from her late residence. Rev. John S. Brown held short services after which her remains were followed by the relatives and a goodly number of friends to the Wimsett Cemetery, where they were interred.
