Crawfordsville Journal Review 17-Dec-1962 3- Harvey Runyon, Alamo, Dies In Culver Hospital- ALAMO- Harvey Runyon, 80, died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He had been seriously ill since suffering a stroke four weeks ago. Mr. Runyon, a farmer, had lived in this area the past 33 years. He moved to Indiana from Fairmount, Ill. 42 years ago. He was a member of the Alamo Christian Church and an elder in the church. He was born Dec. 8, 1882, in Fairmount, a son of George and Adaline Barnes Runyon. He was married March 31, 1909 to Goldia E. See. They were married at Danville, Ill. Survivors include his wife; five sons, Orville of Danville, Ill., George of Fort Worth, Tex., Louis of Tulsa, Okla., Gerald of Clay City and Cmdr. Donald Runyon, who is serving in the U. S. Naval Air Force; a daughter, Mrs. Thelma L. Howard of near Wingate; 16 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
