Mrs. Mary Schott, 85, of 522 Cleveland St., died Thursday at 3 p.m. at Little Flower Manor, Wilkes-Barre, where she had resided the past two months. Born in Stockton, she was a daughter of the late Elias and Susan (Krupa) Krusko. She was a member of St. John's B.C. Church and the Secular Franciscans, and formerly held membership in the auxiliaries of the Hazleton State General and St. Joseph hospitals.

Her husband, Michael, died in 1945. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, George and the Rev. John Krusko, and a sister, Mrs. Veronica Stevens. Surviving are five children: Mrs. Donald (Mary Ann) Peterson, Pottstown; Michael, Pen Argyl; Paul, at home; Sister Annunciata, OSBM, provincial superior of the Sisters of St. Basil, Uniontown; and the Rev. Basil Schott, OFM, provincial superior of Byzantine Franciscans at Sybertsville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are these sisters and brother: Mrs. Susan Pochapsky, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Olga Turner, Arlington, Va.; Helen Krusko, this city; Elias Krusko, New Coxeville; and Anna Krusko, a resident at St. Luke Manor; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., Second Street entrance, with Divine Liturgy with the Office of Christian Burial at 10:30 in St. John's B.C. Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's B.C. Cemetery, Freeland. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A parastas service will be conducted Sunday at 8 p.m.

The funeral of Mrs. Mary Schott, 522 Cleveland St., who died Thursday at the Little Flower Manor, Wilkes-Barre, was held yesterday from the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc.

The blessing at the funeral home was by her son, the Rev. Basil Schott, assisted by the other clergy. The Divine Liturgy with the Office of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church, with Bishop Thomas Dolinay presiding. Other concelebrants were Rev. Basil Schott, OFM,; Rev. John Opalenick, Rev. Anthony Skurla, OFM; Rev. John Petro, Rev. Emil Paulshock, Rev. Nicholas Aleshefski and Rev. Eugene Fulton. Assisting the bishop were Msgr. Joseph Jackanich and Msgr. Paul Firczak.

Interment was in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Freeland, with Reverends Schott and Opalenick, assisted by other clergy, giving the blessing at the grave. Attending in body were sisters of St. Basil Order. Pallbearers were David Krusko, nephew; Raymond Gondell, Brian Billig, Bob Gallagher, George Podany and James Gregor.
