Paul A. Schott, 67, of 522 Cleveland St., Hazleton, died Thursday afternoon at the Gold Star Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Danville. Born in Freeland, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Krusko) Schott. He was a naval veteran of the Korean War and a member of the 14th Ward Fire Company. Prior to retiring, he was last employed at All Steel.
The funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., 542 N. Wyoming St., Hazleton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in St. Johns Byzantine Catholic Church, Hazleton. Interment will follow in St. Mary's B.C. Cemetery, Freeland. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Parastas will be held at 7:30 p.m. Donations to Hope Lodge, American Cancer Society, 125 Lucy Ave., Hummelstown, Pa. 17036, would be appreciated by the family.
