James L Wilson Farmer, Dies
Funeral services for James Leonard Wilson of Houston, who died at the Houston Hospital Friday July 29, were held Saturday, July 30, at Prospect Methodist Church. He was 57. The Rev. Ernest of Woodland and the Rev. F Clark of Houston, conducted the funeral rites. Burial was in Prospect cemetery. He was a well known Chickasaw county farmer.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Ford Wilson, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Hayes Abernethy, Jr., of Memphis, and three sons, James Ford Wilson of New Orleans, Robert Byron Wilson of Memphis and John Andrew Wilson of Houston.
Those serving as pallbearers were Calvin Lancaster, Carl Wilson, Chris Lancaster, Olin Johnson, James Ford and A J Clark.
