Benjamin A. Driver, son of the late Elder Samuel A. and Anna Myers Driver, died at his home near Pleasant Hill at 2:30 o'clock yesterday morning. He had been in poor health for over a year. About A month ago he became seriously ill and was taken to the Rockingham Memorial Hospital where he remained until several days before he died.

He was born Dec. 2. 1868, near Swope’s Depot in Augusta county, in 1883, he was married to Miss Barbara Florv

He spent his entire life in farming—the early part In Augusta county and the last 28 years in Rockingham on the farm where he died. Mr. Driver was a man of high Christian character and was a devout member of the Church of the Brethren.

Besides his widow he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W. F. Flory; four brothers. Elder Casper, John W.: Thomas J. and Homer S. Driver, all of Staunton; three sisters. Mrs. Bettie Harnsberger; Misses Jennie and Lottie Driver, both of Waynesboro. He is also survived by four grandsons.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 o'clock from Garber’s Church with friends meeting at the home at 2 o'clock Services will be conducted by Elder S. J. Bowman and associate ministers. Interment will be In the Bridgewater Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Perry Hartman, Jacob Kline, Charles Kendrick, John Myers. Samuel Moyers and J. C. Armentrout.
