CAVICCHI, Francis Alexander - 86, Middle Musquodoboit, passed away following a brief illness on June 18, 2005. Born in Meaghers Grant, he was a son of the late Andrew and Sophia (Greenough) Cavicchi. Francis was a Veteran serving with the army overseas. Over his career, he worked as a dry cleaner, truck driver, Commissionaire, bus driver, janitor and retired from the Department of Highways. Francis enjoyed the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Helen "Hon" (McKillop); sons, Ted (Laura), Lake Echo; Doug (Anne), British Columbia; grandsons, Trevor (Fiona), Calgary; Trent (Nicole), New Hampshire; Ryan, British Columbia; granddaughters, Laura, Calgary; Angela, British Columbia; Ashley, Lake Echo; great-granddaughters, Ella and Kassidy; brother, Gerald (Jean), Middle Musquodoboit; sister, Olga Ettinger (Albert), Truro. He was predeceased by his brother, Max. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, at 4 p.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke East, Rev. Elroy McKillop officiating. Donations may be made to Musquodoboit Valley Health Foundation - Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Co-operative, Upper Musquodoboit. Our heartfelt thanks to the nurses at Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital for their continual devoted care; as well, a note of thanks to his neighbours, friends and his "lawn mowing buddy" for their hospital visits.
