Funeral services for Morris Leon Beasley, age 82, of Sulphur Springs, were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday. April 14, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Randy Lowe officiating.
Burial followed at Cumby Cemetery, with Mr Beasley’s nephews serving as pallbearers. Mr. Beasley passed away at 11:55 p m., Saturday, April 12, at Sulphur Springs Nursing Home.
He was bom in Cumby on August 15, 1920, to Lee and Ibrah Easley Beasley. Mr. Beasley wan a retired electrician, having worked tor LTV Corporation. He was of the Christian faith. He served in the
United States Air Force during World War II.
Survivors include: one daughter, Dcbia Mask; two sons, Michael Beasley, and Roy Lee Beasley, all of Garland; four step-children; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; two sisters. Katherine Formby of Cumby. and Ozcel Fensley of Grand Prairie; three brothers, Janies T. Beasley of Campbell. Bill Beasley of Sulphur Springs, and Duane Beasley of Flint.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Beasley; and one sister, Imogene Devoll.
Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
